Doughnut slingers are on the front line of providing doughnut happiness. Doughnut slingers should be friendly, helpful and efficient, and are responsible for packaging doughnuts as customers request them in person, via phone or website order, Skip the Dishes or Door Dash. Slingers are also responsible for accepting payment, making coffee, stocking boxes and drinks, and cleaning, sometimes all at once. So the ability to prioritize tasks and multitask is extremely important. Previous experience working in a cafe setting highly favourable. Part or full time positions available to start immediately. Hours may be split between both shops. Starting wage is $16.30. Successful applicants can join our benefit plan after 3 months (must work a min of 20 hours/week, employee pays 50%, Oh Doughnuts pays 50%). All staff receive a portion of the daily tips.
Candidates should possess the following qualifications/qualities:
-Previous customer service experience, preferably in a cafe or bakery setting;
-Strong multitasking skills;
-Attention to detail and the ability to retain and recall information;
-Great customer service and communication skills;
-Organized;
-Able to deviate from customer service ‘script’;
-Ability to work under pressure as well posses initiative to keep busy during slower times;
-Experience handling cash and debit transactions;
-Loves (or strongly likes) doughnuts;
-Fun and positive attitude, super friendly;
-Reliable, dependable, respectful and accepting of diversity;
